and then there were two...
for the past few months, i have been living with
a group of close college friends.
we have a small, but very old house, in the green lake area.
i cannot tell you how much i have enjoyed living there.
but now, the time has come.
the girls are moving out and moving on.
m and i are in it for the long haul -
we simply weren't ready to say goodbye to our
filthy, inexpensive, and absolutely perfect little house.
instead, we are deep cleaning,
painting, and refilling the house with new friends.
but for now, it is a permanent girl party at our house.
with just the two of us.
going for walks,
eating too much frozen yogurt,
sharing face masks,
and avoiding any and all homework assignments we have
for school. can you blame us?
m recently returned to the house
from her summer away at graduate school.
i could not be more excited for or more proud of her!
she is following her dream
and attending notre dame.
and she even brought me home this adorable tee.
so, m, congratulations again.
and i cannot wait to begin this next chapter
(and accompanying adventure) in our home.
to the girls who have moved out already,
we miss you dearly; please come visit.
xoxo,
m & m.
When you find a good place to live around here you have to hold on to it! I just moved to an incredible apartment in Wallingford and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. :-)
ReplyDeletei love wallingford! i definitely don't blame you!! we are practically neighbors, too!
