1. what is something you've always wanted to do but are afraid of?

going up in a hot air balloon. it looks incredible, and must be safe, right? i think it is something i need to try.

2. where do you see yourself in five years?

i will be finished with my montessori certification, and ideally be (smoothly) running my own infant or toddler classroom. i think i need my own wiener dog, too. maybe i'll be married? and hopefully not living paycheck to paycheck. that would be nice.

3. what are you looking forward to before the end of 2013?

watching my best friend, c, get married in october. i cannot wait to celebrate with her and her soon to be husband, n!

4. what are your hopes for your blog?

i would love to see this little blog grow. come october, my blog will reach its second birthday. it has been an amazing creative (and emotional) outlet for me these past (almost) two years. 

5. do you always see yourself in your current town/city?

i would love to move away for a period of time. somewhere sunny, perhaps? my girlfriend, a, recently moved to san diego. how much fun would it be to live there for a year or two? however, i ultimately see myself settling in seattle, as my friends and family all live here.

6. what is your morning routine?

this is new to me! i now wake up at 5:30, hastily shower and get ready, and race to the bus before 6:30. i inhale coffee and then eat breakfast with the tots when they arrive around 7:30. our morning continues from there. it's definitely early (and quite the adjustment to my previous princess schedule), but i don't seem to mind it.
