trying something new

dress: urban outfitters, ballet flats: dsw, scarf: gap, bracelet: gift

last week, m came over to play dress up.

she styled me in this turquoise, lace dress from urban outfitters,

with a colorful scarf, and side-swept french braid.

quite the contrast to my usual untamed ponytail,

skirt, t-shirt, or chambray.

but i have to say, i love the change!

it is so much fun to try something new,

that is perhaps out of your comfort zone

(not that i felt uncomfortable in the above outfit),

but it is not what i would necessarily think to put together.

i think i should strive to be braver 

when it comes to putting things together;

why not experiment?

why not have fun and try something different?

what is there to lose?

so here's to trying to be more creative with my outfit choices.
