dress and necklace: thrifted (c/o seattle goodwill),
bag: tj maxx, heels: jessica simpson
a few weeks ago, i shared one of my favorite thrifted summer dresses
(post here) - purchased from seattle goodwill.
well, i'm back. with another favorite!
i had the pleasure of meeting ms. katherine,
communications manager for seattle goodwill, and she
challenged me to put together a few summer-inspired outfits
with various thrifted pieces.
i have to say, i usually stray from white -
creams, whites, very pale pinks - i think it is the innate preschool teacher in me;
i just know i'll get dirty! i came home today with purple paint on my
shirt and pants :)
i wanted to take a chance with this dress, however,
and try something new. the dress, BCBG, was thrifted
at my local goodwill (i typically shop the south lake union store).
i absolutely love the lace detail.
when thrifting, there are a few things i check for
before purchasing an item:
permanent stains, holes, missing buttons or pieces, snags, etc.
this dress was flawless! i tried it on and knew it had to come home with me.

** a complimentary gift card to goodwill was provided to me
in exchange for this review. all photos and opinions are my own,
and i am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with seattle goodwill!
