hello, weekend! 

how is it that the holidays always come and go so quickly?

there is so much excitement and anticipation leading up

to christmas and new years, and they're seemingly over before we know it.

i wish we could just hit 'pause' and enjoy them a bit longer.

my family and i are still on vacation but return early next week.

i don't know about you, but i need a few more days

of relaxation before returning to the real world of work, 

responsibility, traffic, multi-tasking, and overall craziness!

how was your new years? we enjoyed 

dinner and drinks on the beach and were all home and in bed

before 9:00. it was the perfect way to ring in 2016!
