it is hard to believe that 11 years have passed since 9/11;
somehow it feels like yesterday.
i was in eighth grade at the time. i remember going to school,
hearing of some kind of attack, and sitting with my classmates while watching the news.
i did not understand what was going on, only that something terrible had happened.
we were eventually sent home where i continued to watch as the twin towers
fell on the television screen again and again.
although it has already been 11 years, i will always remember.
