^^^ girl's night out, or more appropriately, girl's night in ^^^

^^^ the feast ^^^

despite my current food coma, i thought i would share a few photos 

of the gorgeous meal i enjoyed this evening.

my coworker, b, invited l and i over for dinner;

a girl's night is just what this girl needed.

it was fun to spend time with one another outside the office 

(or in our case, outside of preschool, and sans babies).

b is quite the chef, let me tell you.

for someone who occasionally "cooks" pasta and macaroni from a box,

the arugula and tomato salad, homemade dipping sauce 

for our fresh veggies, the perfectly seasoned steak -

oh my goodness? talk about tasty!

i would offer to host dinner next time,

but i fear my microwave burritos and boxed meals 

would not be nearly as impressive (or delicious).
