it's the weekend

oh weekend, where did you go?

this past weekend was my first day (or days?) off 

in as long as i can remember.

it felt bizarre -

like i should be busy, or working, or productive, but wasn't.

i spent the weekend at my cabin 

celebrating my mom's birthday!

thankfully the sun came out this afternoon.

so i was able to relax in the grass,

while basking in the sunshine.

i took a few photos for you,

including some of the sun basking queen,

my adorable dachshund, bailey.

and now? time to race to my girlfriend, c's, bridal shower!
