what is more romantic than happy hour with your boyfriend,
followed by haircuts at hair masters?
perhaps nothing?
well, that's what patrick and i did the other night.
despite desperately needing a trim,
and only getting a meager inch cut,
it feels as though my hair is gone.
gone, gone, gone.
it feels incredibly short when i wash it,
as though the length has vanished;
i know that isn't the case,
but when you've been growing it out for a year,
even just a little bit off the ends seems like a lot.
dearest hair, please grow back.
