life lately

this past week has been incredibly busy.

i have been in class all day and night (or so it seems)

while trying to complete my montessori training. 

each day of our training has focused on something different - 

my brain feels like a sponge, 

taking in a plethora of new information. 

attending class seven days in a row has been particularly interesting.

i think i forgot what it is like to be a student.

sitting for long periods of time,

completing homework (what?!),

taking notes (ouch),

commuting,

and so much more. 

one week down, and 51 weeks to go. 

i did, however, purchase the first book for my toddler classroom:

"ten little hot dogs".

i sure hope the toddlers like wiener dogs as much as i do

(though perhaps that isn't possible?).
