a realization

while on a late night walk,

i suddenly came to the realization that 'i am a teacher..'

it is official. 

i care for, mentor, and (hopefully) inspire young children.

it's hard to believe that after graduating from college just over three years ago,

i am now a working professional.

don't get me wrong,

i still struggle with a lack of self-confidence,

difficulties with my financial situation,

and wondering if i am truly in the right profession.

however, i feel like i am on the right path.

i have a genuine love for children

and am passionate about helping others. 

i cannot wait to continue this endeavor towards my future.

now i just need to survive the next seven hours of class.
