flannel and a thrifted skirt

i have been lusting after a fluffy, tulle skirt for ages - 

something like this or this.

above is my thrifted version (costing only $9) of an applique skirt,

paired with a grungy flannel. boyishly chic, right?

there is something about this look

that i absolutely love.

i am hoping to recreate it again (perhaps with 

a genuine tulle skirt) soon.
