welcome to sassafras! 

located in the heart of belltown, sassafras is both a store and design studio.

many of the clothing pieces, jewelry and other accessories

are made on site;

additional local art and clothing are brought in

and featured throughout the shop! 

i am incredibly grateful to have been given a tour of the store 

(and downstairs design studios!)

by the adorable owner, amy.

amy is incredibly knowledgeable - 

she is familiar with each of the designers, 

the details and mission behind their styles, 

and fashion in general.

with amy as a resource, you cannot go wrong shopping at sassafras!

this gorgeous, vintage-inspired couch is located in the dressing room ^^^

^^^ jewelry and handbags, galore! i would love to own 

one of the aztec clutches or geometric (adequately named 'e-ometry') shaped earrings ^^^

^^^ oh the clothes! look at all those gorgeous fabrics and prints ^^^

one of my favorite things about shopping at sassafras 

is the creative way in which the accessories and jewelry are displayed.

^^^ the art pictured above currently decorates the upstairs store.
