beach time, playtime

when planning our california vacation, 

willie and i wanted to be sure to set aside plenty of time

to visit with friends and family. 

today i was fortunate enough to spend the day with me dear friend 

of thirteen years (can you believe how time flies?!), angie. 

we enjoyed a delicious lunch, pomegranate mimosas, ice cream,

and playtime in the sand. 

while these photos are not of the best quality, 

they perfectly capture the setting sun, waves and wind, 

and of course, the salty air.
