i took these photos on our very last day in san diego.
sadly, i am currently typing this while in my bed (located in seattle);
the sunshine and short's weather are gone.
we flew home last night after a wonderful california adventure.
willie and i spent the first several days of the trip in
orange county, and then drove to san diego.
overall, the weather could not have been better!
a little sunshine is just what this girl needed.
i ate far too much ice cream (and french fries, too!),
took several naps,
and basked in the sunshine whenever possible.
we also rented beach cruisers and road along the boardwalk
in pacific beach, visited friends, waded in the chilly water,
and spent time with willie's cousins.
the trip was wonderful, and my return to work today was bittersweet.
i may have a few more summer-inspired outfits to share
on this little blog, and then we shall return
to reality: layers, leggings and flannel, of course.
