"did you get hit?"

life lately according to pictures:

dinner on the waterfront in kirkland / my new makeup weapon / f21 in seattle /

delicious starbucks cake pop / an outfit* / a favorite mask

* denim jacket: f21, t-shirt: old navy, jeans: american eagle, moccasins: minnetonka

boyfriends know just the right thing to say sometimes.

and sometimes... they don't...

(surely they have the best of intentions, however...)

a certain boyfriend asked me if i was hit at work today by one of the babies

(i appear to have a second nose growing on the side of my current nose).

sadly, no, i was not hit.

the wound? a humongous giant epic and large zit. ugh.

seriously, it is huge. and disgusting. and painful. 

and i hope i have not completely horrified you.

but it is a mountain. there is no hiding it.

i am hoping my new secret weapon from bare minerals will somewhat camouflage the wound for work tomorrow.

bare minerals is the only makeup that doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive and breakout-prone skin, and this particular product has sulfur to help reduce irritation.

might just use the entire tub of it tomorrow... we shall see.

my earth science gentle skin peel (from whole foods) should also help (we can hope).

yuck. i apologize for this rant.

but really? 

if my boyfriend thinks my zit is the result of being punched, it must be epic. 

well i am off to use my peel. and perhaps do a mask. and use copious amounts of spot treatment - anything to help my troubled skin.

ps if you have any recommendations or skin products you like or acne cures, please let me know. if the wound does not shrink soon, i might just go ahead with tom's story.
