dress, necklace & chambray: nordstrom, flats: target
do you ever plan an outfit in your head,
think it sounds/looks phenomenal,
and then realize it is not nearly as great as you imagined?
that was the case here - with the chambray.
i think the dress looks better without it, don't you?
it is much too frumpy for this dress.
i am not really sure where the weekend went.
friday, come back!
i housesat for my parents this weekend at their new abode (and took care of my favorite pooch).
it was a nice change of scenery.
the clean/stocked kitchen was also convenient.
my first week with the new job wore me out
because i spent the majority of the past two days in bed or asleep on the couch.
gotta love those lazy weekends, however :)
hope you had a great one!
see you tomorrow with an outfit.
xoxo.
Great dress Meg! I love it without the shirt, but with the shirt you could always tie the bottoms around your waist do it looks like you're wearing a shirt with a skirt!
ReplyDeleteAnd so funny; I read "house sat" as "house eats" and immediately pictured you pigging out at your parents house lol.
