a day at the beach

it was 80 degrees in seattle on monday!

a near record for early may if you ask me.

after preschool, patrick and i drove to alki beach in west seattle.

we walked all along the water, 

sat in the sunshine,

and smelled the delicious looking fish and chips from spuds.

we immediately got in line for our own basket of them

and sat in the grass to feast.

after going through one extra large order of tartar sauce,

and 8 packets of ketchup, 

our fish and chips were gone.

my tummy ache later that evening was well worth it.

i'll take another day at the beach anytime!
