goodbye summer sunshine

i hate to admit it, but i think i may have worn 

these floral shorts for the last time (sans tights and boots)

until next year. 

we were particularly blessed with warm weather

and summer sunshine this year.

i wish i had been able to spend more time outside,

but i am thankful for the little walks i went on,

brief time spent laying in the sun,

afternoons swimming at the cabin, 

and a few trips here and there.

it was a good summer.

but alas, i am ready for a change;

fall, here you come.

this new job and my return to school are keeping me

especially busy.

however, i am excited to de-clutter my life

and belongings, as i move into a new space,

welcome new roommates into our home,

and strive to do my very best each day - 

whether personally or professionally.
