something old, something new

denim jacket: nordstrom, t-shirt: old navy, flats & necklace: thrifted, skirt: pulse vintage

mixing new and old items is seemingly refreshing. 

i love the look of this midi skirt with the patent flats,

and layered with a casual t-shirt and denim jacket. 

if only it was my job to scour vintage shops.

and put together outfits.

i would shop for other people, too! 

alas, my reality is the copious number of papers i need to write

before class this weekend.

and toddler progress reports to fill out.

and emails that are calling out to me.

not to mention my seal-like-cough.

95% of the toddlers in my class currently have the seal-cough.

it is part cough, part bark. 

it sounds disgusting - 

like your throat and neck are coated in phlegm and germs. 

thankfully i am headed to my parent's house

for the weekend where tea, cough drops, and blankets are in surplus.

napping and kisses are also

available from the cutest dachshund around.
