blouse: thrifted (via seattle goodwill), leggings: american apparel,
boots: dsw, bracelets and hat: forever 21
are you ready for fall? i wanted to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe
(like this blouse!), and what better place to shop than my local goodwill?!
as a preschool teacher, with an immense love for shopping,
i cannot always afford to go to the bigger (and subsequently more expensive)
boutiques and department stores. however, i can always find
unique, yet affordable pieces when thrifting. the south lake union goodwill
is one of my favorite destinations! the store is gorgeous
with a variety of brands, products and fun accessories.
and this anthropologie-like blouse? $12!
to celebrate fall, and the upcoming halloween season,
seattle goodwill invited me to the premiere of the new movie,
hotel transylvania 2 at pacific place! the movie was hilarious (and adorable, too!).
when the movie ended, each guest was provided with
a reusable bag - thank you, goodwill! it wasn't just any bag, either!!
do you remember when nordstrom created this epic instagram photo on
top of their flagship store in seattle?
nordstrom donated the canvas (pictured above) to goodwill,
who then recycled/transformed the canvas into reusable bags!
^^^ how does my bag look? ^^^
this bag will be perfect for trips to the grocery store,
or perhaps i'll bring it with me on future thrifting endeavors!
thank you for a fun evening, goodwill,
and i know i'll see you again soon!
xoxo.
**this is not a sponsored post. all opinions are my own! i am thrilled
to support my local goodwill.
That's so cool that the canvas was made into bags! Also that is definitely my apartment building in the background of your shots! Hahaha.
