i picked up this lipstick and fun hat this past weekend
in an effort to welcome fall in seattle. i love fall when the sun is shining.
clouds are okay, too, but i'm simply not ready for the weeks
on end of rain, cold and darkness (i.e. seattle winter).
but this lipstick - it's a dream. i have a hard time finding lipstick that
1. is dark (or pigmented) enough to show up on my lips
and 2. that stays on throughout the day.
this liquid lipstick meets both criteria and then some! i cannot wait
to return to my local sephora to try out some of the other colors.
while fall is upon us, i am trying to get a few more wears out of
some of my more summer-like pieces, such as this kimono.
because i chase around toddlers all day, my body temp runs warm,
and i like to dress in layers. this outfit (sans hat) was perfect
for a busy day in the classroom. i was both cool and comfortable throughout the day!
and now, this teacher is headed to bed.
