if you were to look through my closet (which is currently
an absolute mess), you would quickly realize my love for floral
prints could more accurately be called an 'obsession.' whether
tops, skirts, dresses or shoes, floral print is a serious
favorite. and while this is not particularly noteworthy, the floral
prints i have seen this spring are gorgeous!
the great thing about florals is that they are versatile -
big or small flowers, you can pair your floral print blouse
or skirt with just about anything in your closet! blue or white denim,
a striped top, or pattern mix your floral print with other florals -
it can all go together. additional bonus? anyone can
pull off a classic floral print!
with this nude-colored blouse, i chose a darker, cropped denim,
neutral (a subtle snakeskin) ballet flats, and a metallic
clutch to add a bit of excitement to this otherwise simple look.
in an attempt to bring sunshine and warm, happy thoughts
my way, i decided to sway from my typical dark nails
and instead wear a periwinkle blue polish. i received many
compliments on this color, and i cannot wait to try it
again; this shellac color still looked vibrant after two weeks of wear!

do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
i am babysitting, sleeping in (as much as possible!),
visiting family, and of course, celebrating easter on sunday!
i will not tell you how much easter candy i have
already consumed this week - it is impossible for me to turn
down m&m's and the reese's peanut butter eggs!
xoxo.
