happy new year, everyone! how is it already 2017?
new year, new outfits, new adventures!
these past few weeks have seemingly flown by -
between holiday parties and events, family commitments,
and (finally!) taking my exam for work, i feel quite behind with
everything else (blogging, laundry, grocery shopping, and all other chores).
however, i've found plenty of time to binge watch a few new shows
including 'the crown,' 'this is us,' and 'timeless.'
alas, i am focused and eager to get back to my usual routine, including blogging!
faux fur is one of my favorite statement pieces during the fall
and winter months. it can be styled with the majority of blouses, dresses and
sweaters currently hanging in your closet; faux fur instantly adds glam to any outfit!
and in case you missed it, you can see how i styled my faux fur leopard jacket
this holiday season here.
my vest was a thrifted treasure from a few years back, and i look
forward to pairing it with a variety of outfits each fall and winter. today i am
wearing it with a contrast shirt dress, courtesy of the uk brand, boohoo. while perhaps
too short with sheer tights for the office, i wore this dress to work with
opaque leggings and an oversized sweater.
i have also worn it when grabbing coffee and running
errands with my grey, distressed skinny jeans.
the faux fur combination, however, is one of my favorites!
